« Costumes chinois : Femmes de la dynastie Tang » est un ouvrage qui remonte de la dynastie Sui aux Cinq Dynasties et explique, à l'aide d'illustrations et de photographies, les noms, les styles et les coordinations des différents costumes de l'époque, répartis en quatre chapitres : vêtements de soie, ornements, maquillage et coiffures. Des personnages célèbres de l'histoire chinoise, tels que Yang Guifei, Wu Zetian, Shangguan Wan'er, Nie Yinniang, la princesse Tongchang, etc., sont choisis, et leurs costumes, vêtements, ornements, coiffures, maquillages et scènes sont reconstitués en se basant sur des documents antérieurs.
